New Label Printers From K-Sun

K-Sun has just come out with four new label printers. They are variations on a single design, so they are very similar, but each has its advantages. They all incorporate a new feature that K-Sun calls "PeelGuard". This feature automatically trims labels to give them rounded corners. The advantage is that this stops the corners of labels from coming loose, curling up, and breaking off. The result is labels that do not start to peel off at the corners. You get longer lasting labels, and labels that retain their profession quality look--instead of becoming ragged around the edges.

The four new labelers are:

2011XLB - this is the basic model. It does industrial quality labeling with the cabability of priting on tapes that are from 1/6" to 1" in width and produce labels up to four inches in width.

2011XLB-PC - this is the same as the 2011XLB, with the addition of the ability to connect to a PC.

2012XLST - this model adds the ability to print wire and cable labels to the general labeling capabilities of the 2011XLB. It can print both shrink tubes and self-laminating wire wraps.

2012XLST-PC - this is the same as the 2012XLST, with the addition of the ability to connect to a PC.

All four machines have a listed weight of 1.9 pounds, and they all incorporate a built-in handle. They all also have a 72-key QWERTY keyboard. This makes these machines suitable for both desktop use and portable use.

Brady MiniMark Available In The U.S.

The Brady MiniMark desktop label printer is now available in the U.S. from Graphic Products.

The Brady MiniMark is an economical, 203 dpi thermal transfer printer that is an excellent entry level label printer. This is an industrial quality machine, it is not a labeler designed for home or hobby use. It connects to your PC just as any other printer does. You can then use the Brady Markware software to design, store and print the labels you need. Label materials are available both as continuous rolls of industrial grade vinyl (available in 12 colors) or die-cut labels.

The Brady MiniMark does not have a keyboard or monitor available, it is a PC-based label printer. This is one way it saves you money as there is no need to pay for components you already have on your desktop, such as a keyboard, memory and a monitor.
